Flask A contains yeast cells in glucose-minimal salts broth incubated at 30C with aeration. Flask B contains yeast cells in a glucose-minimal salt broth incubated at 30C in an anaerobic jar.

-Which culture produced more ATP?
-Which culture had a shorter generation time?
-which culture had a greater cell mass?
-which culture produced more alcohol?

Instead of using yeast cells the same experiment was performed with Clostridium, an obligate anaerobe. Again flask A had aeration and Flask B was in an anaerobic jar.
